On August 13, 2025, Bulgar Eden Enterprise Co., LTD. attended the Taiwan Post-Tensioning Institute’s 2025 Educational Workshop, co-organized by National Chung Hsing University and National Cheng Kung University. The full-day program, held in Lecture Room R111 at the Institute of Applied Mechanics, National Taiwan University, centered on stay-cable and post-tensioning technologies. The morning sessions focused on practical aspects of stay-cable design, construction, and maintenance, while the afternoon modules concentrated on post-tensioning fundamentals, design essentials, field inspection and long-term maintenance. The workshop combined academic and industry expertise, offering a balanced mix of theory and practical guidance suitable for consultants, contractors and owners.
Highlighted presentations included a case study on the Korean highway bridge collapse (Ming-Hsing Wu), cable systems and bridge case studies (Chia-Jen Chang), stay-cable design and standards (Tian-Cheng Li), cable maintenance and tension measurement techniques (Yi-Ching Lin), post-tensioning principles and design essentials (Chih-Huang Chiu), installation and inspection of post-tensioning (Hsün-Ju Fan), system development and application trends (Chun-Yuan Liao), and maintenance, health checks and monitoring (Yu-Ming Liu). The program provided attendees with a structured update on current codes, construction best practices, and monitoring strategies.
