Bulgar Eden Visits Danjiang Bridge: Observing Collaborative Excellence in Bridge Engineering

On October 26, 2023, Bulgar Eden Enterprise Co., LTD. participated in a site visit to the Danjiang Bridge project, hosted by the Highway Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and Communications. The event brought together key engineering and post-tensioning experts from both domestic and international institutions, including KUNG SING Engineering, T.Y. Lin International Taiwan, DYWIDAG Systems International (DSI), Sumitomo Electric Industries, and the Taiwan Post-Tensioning Institute.

The Danjiang Bridge is a critical infrastructure initiative designed to alleviate chronic traffic congestion between Tamsui and Bali. This major project connects several highway systems—Highways 2, 15, 61, and 64—reducing travel distance by up to 15 kilometers and significantly easing the burden on the Guandu Bridge. It plays a strategic role in strengthening the northern Taiwan road network.

In addition to the on-site observation of the bridge structure and the implementation of the post-tensioning system, the visit also featured technical discussions and exchanges among participating teams, focusing on practical aspects such as quality control, stressing operations, and wind tunnel testing during the construction process.
