On November 5, 2020, Bulgar Eden Enterprise Co., Ltd. (BE) collaborated with National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) to conduct research on the “Interaction between Load and Post-Tensioning Prestressing System.” The study used a single I-beam with 12 strands of 15.2mm tendons, applying a total prestress of 80 tons.
Strain gauges were embedded throughout the beam to monitor structural response under different stages of prestressing and loading.
BE was represented by Chief Engineer Mr. Ted Pan and Engineer Mr. Max Xiao, who provided design review, field stressing guidance, and technical instruction.
The research contributed to a deeper understanding of stress behavior in post-tensioned systems.
This collaboration reflects BE’s ongoing commitment to academic engagement and advancing practical applications in structural engineering.
