Test Report & Certification

Bulgar Eden Enterprise Co., LTD, a leading manufacturer specializing in bridge prestressing systems, has once again demonstrated its commitment to quality and innovation through its flagship product, the BE Post-Tensioning System. Widely applied in major infrastructure projects across Asia and beyond, the system has recently passed multiple internationally recognized tests, fully aligning with the standards set forth by the Taiwan Railway Bureau and the acceptance recommendations of the International Federation for Structural Concrete (FIP).

The testing program for BE Post-Tensioning included Static Load Tests, Fatigue Tests, and Load Transfer Tests, all conducted in accordance with international standards such as EAD 160004-00-0301-2016, ISO 15630-3:2019, ETAG 013-2002, and EN 13391:2004. These tests comprehensively evaluated the system’s anchorage capacity, fatigue resistance, and load transfer performance, ensuring that it meets the highest global benchmarks in bridge engineering.

 Static load test

In the Static Load Test, the tendon-anchorage assembly exhibited superior anchoring capacity with prestressing steel tendons, confirming the system’s ability to maintain safety and stability under long-term service loads. This provides a crucial guarantee for structural performance, particularly in large-scale bridges and critical infrastructure.

The Static Load Test, conducted in accordance with standards such as EAD 160004-00-0301-2016、prEN 10138-3、ISO 15630-3:2019、GB/T 14370-2015、GB/T 230.1-2018, confirmed the anchorage assembly's excellent capacity in securing prestressing steel tendons, ensuring safety and stability during service.

Bulgar Eden Enterprise Co., LTD, the manufacturer of the BE Post-Tensioning System, has successfully completed the Static Load Test at the Housing and Building National Research Center (HBRC), an official governmental institution under Egypt's Ministry of Housing and Urban Communities.

The test was conducted by HBRC's Building Materials and Quality Control Research Institute (BMI), an internationally accredited testing organization certified by IAS (International Accreditation Service) under ISO/IEC 17025 standards and a recognized member of ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation).

Established in 1954, HBRC plays a vital role in managing Egypt's national construction and housing technology system. Its mission focuses on enhancing construction safety and efficiency through research, code development, laboratory testing, and technical consultation. The Center operates 11 specialized institutes and numerous laboratories, providing technical guidance and quality assurance for both government and private sector construction projects.

The BMI Institute specializes in evaluating the physical and mechanical properties of various construction materials and components, conducting both laboratory and field tests to ensure compliance with international standards. With four ISO-accredited laboratories, BMI is widely recognized across the Middle East and Africa for its role in ensuring quality and safety in large-scale infrastructure projects.

Passing the Static Load Test at HBRC demonstrates the reliability, stability, and performance excellence of the BE Post-Tensioning System. It reaffirms Bulgar Eden's continuous commitment to providing safe, durable, and globally trusted post-tensioning solutions for modern infrastructure.

Fatigue Test / Dynamic Load Test

The Fatigue Test / Dynamic Load Test, carried out under ETAG 013-2002, involved over two million load cycles without failure, proving the system's exceptional durability and reliability under fluctuating dynamic conditions. Such performance is particularly vital for high-traffic environments such as highways, railways, and urban transport systems.

Load Transfer Test

The Load Transfer Test verified that the system successfully transmits prestressing forces from mechanical anchorage to concrete structures, ensuring structural integrity and maximizing the designed performance of the system.
