BE Post-Tensioning System by Bulgar Eden Obtains SIRIM Certification

Bulgar Eden Enterprise Co., LTD announced that its BE Post-Tensioning System officially obtained SIRIM certification on February 13, 2026. SIRIM (Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia), under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), is a nationally recognized authority responsible for setting technical standards and conducting product certification in Malaysia. Its certification process is known for its rigor, covering documentation review, laboratory testing, product evaluation, and on-site verification.

Throughout the certification process, the SIRIM team was closely involved in all stages of evaluation, including the review of design documentation, manufacturing procedures, product components, and testing operations. Constructive discussions were carried out with Mr. Lau Chia Chin (Project Director) and Mr. Shairazi Bin Abdul Wahab (Senior Testing Engineer) from SIRIM QAS, allowing both parties to exchange technical insights and ensure a thorough and transparent assessment process.

The required testing was conducted at CABR Testing Center Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the China Academy of Building Research. Originating from a national-level testing institution, CABR possesses extensive experience in structural engineering, materials testing, and infrastructure evaluation. With its well-established technical capabilities and comprehensive laboratory facilities, the testing results provided a high level of credibility and formed a solid foundation for the certification process.

During the project, Bulgar Eden also worked closely with its long-term partners, L.T.C Technical Works Sdn Bhd. and Concrete Empire Sdn Bhd. L.T.C has extensive experience in prestressing works in Malaysia and a deep understanding of local standards and practices. Meanwhile, Concrete Empire brings strong expertise in bridge precast elements and construction execution. Their consistent collaboration and professional support contributed significantly to the successful completion of this certification.

Bulgar Eden noted that obtaining SIRIM certification represents an important milestone in affirming the quality and reliability of the BE Post-Tensioning system. It also establishes a solid foundation for further expansion into the Malaysian and regional markets.
